Quietness

Tranquil,
Is the quiet sound of peace
Never borrowed on loan
Never taken out on lease
The calmest whispers
In the hot summers breeze
The soothing rustles
In the shedding autumn trees

Silence,
Is the subtle absence of sound
forever relaxing muteness
filling up in the surround
Take a step back
From all the pain and suffering
Just cover your ears
And you'll hear the faint muffling
Of something we all take for granted
